Search the whole site with ⌘K
Hit ⌘K from any page to search across pages, articles, glossary terms, case studies, and integrations. Arrow keys to navigate, Enter to open, Esc to close.
What shipped
A site-wide command palette. Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from any page to open a search bar and jump anywhere on the site in a few keystrokes.
Type a term — you'll see live results grouped by type: pages, articles, glossary entries, case studies, integrations, and events. Matches are highlighted inline. Use the arrow keys to navigate, Enter to open, Esc to close.
Why it matters
The site has a lot of surface area now — forty-plus pages, hundreds of blog posts, a glossary, case studies, a growing integrations directory. Finding a specific piece of content used to mean scrolling the navbar, hunting in the footer, or opening a fresh Google search.
The command palette is faster for almost every lookup. Think of it as "open anything" for the Prescient site.
How to use it
- Open: press ⌘K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux. There's also a search button in the top-right of the navbar.
- Navigate: use the up and down arrow keys to move through results.
- Open: press Enter on the highlighted row.
- Close: press Esc or click outside the panel.
Before you start typing, the palette shows a curated "Popular" section (homepage, pricing, platform pages) and a "Recent" section listing the last few articles. Start typing and it switches to live matches.
What's searchable
- Pages — every page in the site navigation (Platform, Solutions, Pricing, Company).
- Articles — every blog post on The Forward, including author, category, and date.
- Glossary — every term and definition.
- Case studies — every customer story, including client name and industry.
- Integrations — every supported data source.
- Events — upcoming and past webinars.
Results include small category badges (Article, Glossary, Page, Case study, and so on) so you can scan the list quickly. Matching text is highlighted in the title and subtitle.
Under the hood
The palette is powered by a client-side index built at deploy time. No server round-trips, no third-party search service — everything is bundled with the page, so searches feel instant and work offline on any already-loaded page.
